About Us:
Ohio Voice for Foster Parents is an Ohio based, Statewide group, founded by and for Care Parents, those in Foster, Respite Care, Kinship Care and Adoptive homes. 

Ohio Voice for Foster Parents is not  to replace or compete with any other organization we hope to join in a common goals.  The founders,  our charter members, feel there is a need for a voice for foster parents, on recruiting, retaining homes and protecting our homes.

Purpose:
Foster Caregivers need to know the Laws and Rules so they to can be better informed.  When Foster Parents know the Job and Family Service rules, and the Ohio Laws, then more time can be devoted to the youth.

Ohio Voice for Foster Parents has several purposes, first is  to bring forward a voice. Foster Caregivers open their hearts and home to those that have a need.

Foster Care is not a job, it is a lot of work and worry, it is a calling, Foster parents need not have to explain why they do, they just do it.

Goals:
Ohio Voice for Foster Parents has a goal to have a charter member in each of the 88 Ohio counties.  A lead person that can reach out to other foster homes.
